This recipe is so simple you could call it a lazy cobbler. But just because it takes little work on your part doesn't mean it is not delicious!!

Cast Iron Peach Cobbler

1 Quart Jar of or 4 cups of frozen peaches

1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces

1 cup flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put the butter into a medium-size Cast Iron Pan and place it in the heating oven to melt the butter. Meanwhile, stir the rest of the ingredients but the peaches together in a medium bowl. Once butter is melted remove the pan from the oven. Be careful it is hot. Pour the dough mixture into the pan of butter. Do not stir. Pour the peach in the center of the dough mixture and even out but do not stir! Place the pan back in the oven a bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Server warm!
