I got this recipe from a local friend who owned and ran her own Bakery. She made this recipe everyday in huge patches to make many pies a day. She reduced it down to one pie crust recipe just for me and you.

1 pie crust.

1/4 cup butter

1 1/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

2-4 TBsp cold water

Add flour and salt to a large food processor with a cutting blade. Cut butter into chunks with a butter knife. Turn your food processor on in mix mode. Add the butter a few chunks at time. Once the mixture looks like oily flour. Begin to add water one Tablespoon at a time. Wait a minute between each Tablespoon. Stop when mixture comes together and forms a ball. Stop Food Processor and remove ball to a flat floured surface. Knead slightly. You are ready to roll out your pie crust.

2 Pie Crusts

1/2 cup butter

2 1/2 cup flour

1/2 tsp salt

3-6 TBsp cold water

Same instructions as above.
